Schoberwirt in Munich traditional Bavarian restaurant since 1829

In 1829, when day-worker and craftsmen were still living in the Au, Georg Schober rented a restaurant – the Schoberwirt. Until today, our guests can enjoy fresh Loewenbraeu beer, Bavarian delicacies and seasonal dishes at our traditional restaurant in Munich. Since day one, we have been serving more than 7 million litres beer. Today, we still serve original Loewenbraeu in the traditional icy stein.

Hospitality is most important to us. Apart from meat and drink you can enjoy a game of „sheephead“, soccer matches and more in the homely Bavarian atmosphere of our restaurant and beer garden in Munich Au-Haidhausen.

Our Bavarian cuisine is based on fresh ingredients. Taste the high quality of our schnitzels (prepared from sirloin meat, freshly breaded when ordered), homemade mincemeat, salads or seasonal dishes. We are open daily from 11 am to 12 pm, warm meals are served all day. Additionally to our standard menu you can enjoy our daily changing lunch as well as special offers such as our spareribs friday and the schnitzel day on mondays.
